Hi, I’m Quincy - your healthcare chatbot by QliqSOFT and I’ll be new to HIMSS this year. Since it’s my first time I’ve been doing a lot of research so that I can come prepared. I’d love to share my “HIMSS20 Survival Guide” with you! Over five days, nearly 45,000 people from over 90 countries will file through the Orange County Convention Center. With so many events going on, and people to meet, I’m humming along to Aerosmith “I don’t want to miss a thing!”

First, it’s all about ME! I’m making my grand reveal this year at booth 421. Here’s a list of things you won’t want to miss out on:

Build-A-Bot

Wondering what a “healthcare chatbot” is? I’m the new HIPAA-Compliant chatbot platform designed by Qliqsoft. AI-driven and conversational, my platform allows you to instantly engage your audience. Come by the booth and work with one of our experts to design your very own chatbot and leave with a certificate of achievement that includes a custom QR code to access your bot anytime!

Customer Conversations

Our customers have been raving about their experiences with both healthcare chatbots and our new GPS-enabled resource management tool, Visit Path. Come hear from them first hand.

CAN COMMUNITY HEALTH

Tuesday, March 10th @ 11:00 AM

CAN relies on QliqSOFT's chatbot solution to facilitate remote medical testing and video counseling. From ordering a kit online to walking patients through the testing process at home, an AI-driven chatbot provides a seamless user experience. Agents on standby deliver real-time F2F education using in-bot video conferencing. The result is better diagnosis follow-up for all involved.

CORNERSTONE HOSPICE

Wednesday, March 11th @ 12:00 PM

The goal of Cornerstone Hospice is to deliver exceptional care to each of their patients in every community they serve. In order to accomplish this, they needed a way to utilize their field staff in a more efficient way to maximize patient visits and improve operations. QliqSOFT's Visit Path GPS technology allows Cornerstone administrators to track and report patient visits, proving to be invaluable to their revenue management and resource optimization.

UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA, COLLEGE OF PHARMACY

Wednesday, March 11th @ 1:00 PM

The University of Florida College of Pharmacy realizes the opportunity to meet patients where they are and increase participation in medication adherence conferences. Chatbots present the unique opportunity to meet patients on their smartphone in real time and connect patients to pharmacists directly, reducing the 60+ interactions required to track down and call patients to a single touch-point.

Exciting Presentations

Our bot experts will be presenting at our booth at various times each day, check out the schedule to find a date & time that works best for you and plan to stop by to learn more about “The 5 Worst Chatbot Fails” and “The Personification of Technology”.

Bots & Brews

Come raise a glass to, well… me!  Wednesday, March 11th @ 4:00 PM

Next let’s talk about the convention itself. My research has taught me a lot about getting around and making the best use of my time.

Reservations

Make sure your hotel / Airbnb / local couch is reserved for your upcoming stay. With events starting as early as 7 AM EST (-5 GMT), and as late as 10 PM, make sure you get plenty of rest throughout the week. This also means you should reserve your spot at events or demonstrations with companies of your choice. There is no set schedule at HIMSS, just the one you create!

Services

With over seven million square feet of space, the Orange County Convention center has tons of onsite amenities and services available throughout the entirety of the show (make sure you’re ready to walk). This can be as simple as a coat room, or a space to prepare before your big speech. The absolute best way to have all of this information handy is through the HIMSS mobile app, available for android and apple devices.

Travel

The convention center itself has multiple floors and buildings, don’t get lost! Take this map with you. There are multiple travel options from a car (parking is normally  $17), hotel shuttle, taxis, and ride share. Have your travel plans ready and make sure to leave early to make sure you’re at the right place, at the right time. Uber and Lyft are always busy, be sure to request your rides a little early.

Food

There are dozens of food vendors within the convention center, for you to choose from. With plenty of places to sit and enjoy the Florida environment, either inside or outside. If you find some time to get to the greater Orlando area for lunch, “Eater” has a great list of places to try.

Supplies

Depending on your schedule, there are items you should consider bringing with you. First, a portable charger, you don’t want to be stuck with a dead cellphone. Hygiene items, such as hand sanitizer and deodorant - you are going to be around thousands of people each day. A water bottle, or a resealable drink to keep you hydrated. Walking shoes (or a change of shoes), a bag for your supplies, business cards, and most importantly: an umbrella. You never know when those Florida thunderstorms can roll in!

Here are items you should consider bringing with you:

  • Portable Charger
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Deodorant
  • Water bottle or a resealable drink
  • Walking shoes
  • Business Cards
  • Umbrella (You never know when those Florida thunderstorms can roll in!)

Lastly, as healthcare professionals we know that conferences like these present an unfortunate opportunity for the spread of illness. Be sure to read up on the latest Coronavirus updates published by HIMSS.

With so much going on I hope this information is helpful as you prepare for your HIMSS20 adventure! I would love to get to meet you there. Remember, if you register for a live demo in advance you’ll get some extra bonus gifts at the booth, just for seeing what I’m all about.

I’ll see you at booth 421!
