The healthcare industry continues to evolve, with innovative technology rapidly transforming how providers deliver services. Someone well aware of such change is Krishna Kurapati, founder and CEO of QliqSOFT, who was recently asked to join the LTC Heroes podcast at HIMSS 2023.

Kurapati told Experience Care’s Peter Murphy Lewis how QliqSOFT’s products are improving communication and engagement between care teams, patients, and families. “The purpose of the software is communication through texting because it’s the easiest way to exchange information among providers, team members, doctors, and families and patients,” she said. “Plus, our texting application is cost-effective and used across different care settings like LTCC and LTC.”

The CEO noted that QliqSOFT prides itself on providing essential tools that streamline processes for long-term care facilities, even before admission. “The first thing we set up is the bot on your website, greeting family members and patients who want to be admitted,” Kurapati said. “We create a customized bot for your platform to engage with patients.” He added that bots are also given to the offices of physicians looking to refer patients to long-term care organizations.

One of the greatest advantages of using QliqSOFT is that the technology can be easily integrated with EMR software systems, allowing facilities to launch services directly from their portal. Additionally, QliqSOFT enables facilities to collect essential patient information, such as consent, specific intake, or insurance updates, while storing the data in a centralized location. “From there, long-term care teams can get patient signatures and send educational information to the patient with a few simple clicks using the same platform, making the process simple, convenient, and efficient,” said Kurapati.

In the future, QliqSOFT will feature more advanced tools to better address mental health issues, a growing concern among healthcare professionals. “Mental health is a big area to focus on because it’s becoming a part of the triage process at the beginning of check ins,” said Kurapati. “That’s why we are investing more in clinical expertise to deliver workflows to our target customers.” It is that sort of forward thinking that puts QliqSOFT at the forefront of the technological revolution in healthcare.
