SOS: three-option escalation from the home screen
What's new
- ✓Three-option SOS escalation.Field workers can now escalate distress more precisely and faster. The in-app SOS prompt is replaced by a three-option modal (Need Cop, Call me, Show up), and group admins configure separate routing recipients per escalation type under Quincy, Visit Path, SOS Settings. A new home-screen widget and lock-screen surface (iOS 17+ Live Activity with Dynamic Island support; Android 8.0+ ongoing notification) puts the three SOS buttons on the device home and lock screens, so a field worker can trigger help without unlocking the phone or opening the app.

- ✓No visible distress indicator.Deliberately, no surface displays a persistent distress-active indicator: buttons return to their idle appearance after activation, and the active state is reflected only inside the app on the Visit Path screen. This is a security choice, so a person under observation does not signal at a glance that they have called for help.
